    :

General NewsSome Internet@Dalton users are getting email that appears to be from eBay requesting their account to be updated. This is not email from eBay, but instead from a scammer looking to take personal information and credit card information from the unsuspecting. There is a link in the email that appears to go to an eBay page where user name, password and credit card information is requested.

Please be weary of anyone requesting passwords and credit card information via email, instant messages, or other forms of communication.
