    General NewsIt has come to our attention that some of our users are receiving email that appears to be from PayPal. The subject of this email is “Account issue” from the email address service@paypal.com. The body of the email links you to fake PayPal login page for you to enter your login and password. This fake PayPal login screen is very convincing; however, the address that appears in your browser’s address bar is not PayPal’s.

    When logging into PayPal’s site, always make sure that the address reads: https://www.paypal.com. Any other address is not legitimate. You should always protect any financial or personal information on the Internet.
